Almost ready!
We are almost ready to go - Poppy has her passport and she has been groomed. She is wearing her Scalibor collar. Everytime we take something out to the Campervan she watches us, bless her she is confused - we think, she thinks we are going without her.
Checked the weather forecast - it is looking good! No snow thank goodness. 18°C in the day and 6°C at night.
Mercy is ready -all packed and headlamp deflectors fitted so she should not blind the foreigners.
One more sleep - then we head off to Hull for the North Sea Ferry trip to Zeebruges.

We are still very Busy preparing!
First and most important thing - for me anyway is - it is now 60 days since I stopped smoking after 52 years - well done me. I am using an electronic cigarette called Smokers Angel Ultra Tank - best £39.99 I have ever spent - saving me lots of money. We have set up a web site, to earn a few pennies in our retirement for anyone who wants to try them - the link is - http://www.ecigarettedirect.co.uk/242.html - if you click on this link it will go to our Affiliate page and we will earn a little bit of commission.
Mercy the campervan is ready, Reversing cameras fitted, MOT passed, and 5 new tyres all raring to go. We tested the fridge and made some ice in it - Phil is happy - he can have his B & C nightcap. I am happy I can have cold wine. I suppose the milk, butter and Pate will be happy too.
Visited Dentist all OK, and Doctors - no problem being issued with 3 months of meds. Hopefully we have covered all bases.
We had a meal and some bon-voyage drinks with 3 friends last night - thanks for coming girls. Was a good laugh!
All that remains now is to pack all the bits and bobs into Mercy. It is a good job she has lots of nooks and crannies. We will fill them all!
8 more sleeps before we leave :-)

Spain
Mar de Cristal Playa |
Poppy has had her Rabies injection and we pick up her Passport on 26th March when she has her booster injections. She will be going to the groomer to take some of her coat off - it will be more comfortable for her in the heat.
I have a dental appointment and Phil has to see his diabetic nurse this week - hopefully that is all of us sorted ready for the trip.
The granny flat is coming along nicely plastering all done - painting has started. I cant wait to see the kitchen and bathroom installed.
Phil is fitting some reversing cameras to Mercy - so even I should be able to park her up. I was telling a friend that we had bought the campervan because we didn't want to put Poppy in the hold of a plane and it was very costly for her to fly. She remarked that it is an expensive dog kennel we have now :-)
